TripleShot High CHIRP Sonar with SideScan and DownScan Imaging
The Lowrance Tripleshot transducer is a good choice for anglers looking for wide-angle high CHIRP sonar (200kHz) and images of the fish-holding structures powered by DownScan and SideScan imaging (455/800kHz).
Tripleshot transducer pairs with Hook Reveal 7x, providing underwater sonar images to depths of 500ft as well as photo-like images below the boat (DownScan) to 300ft and photo-like images to the left and right of the boat (SideScan) to 600ft (side to side).
It also provides accurate water temperature and depth readings.
The Lowrance Hook Reveal 7x gives you the power to see fish and structure beneath your boat like never before. This product combines the proven performance of Lowrance CHIRP sonar with high-resolution images from DownScan Imaging, making it easier to identify fish targets with FishReveal.
FishReveal makes fish appear more clearly as an arch by brightening and displaying them with greater clarity. It helps distinguish Bass from Baitfish and even identify when they are close to a structure or submerged grass.
Hook Reveal 7x TripleShot offers the feature to create custom contour maps with Genesis Live. Genesis live is a real-time feature that creates an overlay of depth contour mapping based on live sonar soundings. The Genesis live sonar soundings are recorded into the Micro SD card which can be inserted in Hook Reveal 7x.
Hook Reveal 7x Autotuning sonar automatically adjusting settings as fishing conditions change. Sonar can be set to “Auto” or custom settings of your choice. This can save a considerable amount of time and hassle when starting a new fishing location.
You can add, delete and edit the waypoints on Lowrance Hook Reveal 7x maps. It can store up to 3000 waypoints and 100 routes, each containing 99 turns or stops.
Hook Reveal 7x TripleShot features a SolarMAX display that offers excellent clarity and daylight visibility, even under bright sunshine.

I have the 7-inch model, and I believe it to be the ideal size for my boat. The down scan feature is fantastic, as well as the waypoint function. It's simple to install.
