SplitShot High CHIRP Sonar DownScan Imaging

The Lowrance SplitShot transducer is a good choice for anglers looking for wide-angle high CHIRP sonar (200kHz) and images of the fish-holding structures powered by DownScan imaging (455/800kHz).

SplitShot 2-in-1 transducer pairs with Hook2 providing underwater sonar images to depths of 500ft as well as photo-like images below the boat (DownScan) to 300ft. It provides double sonar coverage than most fishfinders. Traditional sonars have beam width of 44° @ 200kHz whereas Splitshot provides a beam width of 55/3° @ 455 kHz and 35/1.6° @ 800 kHz.

SplitShot allows you to track baits and mark fish with DownScan imaging. It identifies structures under your boat and distinguishes it from the fish.

GPS Plotter

Hook2 7x Tripleshot does not support maps but it has a built-in GPS plotter. You can add, delete and edit the waypoints on a white background screen that displays your location. It can store up to 5000 waypoints and 100 routes, each containing up to 99 turns or stops.
